Iwill use a desk top or lap top computer for my personal use in teaching my classroom. The computer will provide me with a way of communicating to the school faculty by means of email. I will use it for word possessing, storing information, inputting grades, researching, and lesson plans. It can also be connected to a smart board.
Smart boards are interactive. The students are excited about using them. They can be used for all subjects and are connected to a computer, so it can be used as a computer monitor and the whole class can see what is on the desk top. Whatever you can pull up on a computer, can be shown on the smart board.
A wiki is a virtual content management platform where anyone accessing the content can upload, modify and exchange documents and files. I would like to use this technology for Language Arts/Reading Writing. Each student would have a wiki page and be connected to another person also having a wiki page. The two would write back and forth, and I as a teacher would be able to assess my student’s writing abilities.

This lesson made me think about all of the tools that are available to use in the classroom, and the ones that I thought would be most beneficial to use. So, the ones that I think I will use in my classtoom are all 5 of the tools, classroom computer, teacher's own personal computer, smart board, classroom website, and wikis spaces.
