Before I give my philosopghy of technology intergration in the classroom, I wanted to share this wiki I found on the internet. Philosophy of Intergrating Technology AtMy Technology Philosophy:
As an educator, I am on team "Progressivism." I believe Progressivism is the endbest way to intergrate technology into the classroom because of several reasons. Progressivism has respect for how each individual person learns and takes into consideration the semester, once you have moved through allthree learning types ( auditory, visual, and kinesthetic). This philosophy is very receptive to change which correlates well with the ever changing ways of technology. In addition to this, Progressivism helps students solve problems in the modules, write a short paragraphclassroom similar to those they will encounter in the everyday world. Students will be able to use the technology taught to them in the classroom in other aspects of their lives. Another factor in the Progressive approach is that tells us how you see yourself using [[wikifoundation:home#|technologyit teaches by "doing." Technology can not be learned as well if one does not actually "do" the activities being taught. There are several other reasons I choose Progressivism, but the last one I would like to mention is that our learning increases when we are engaged in activities that have meaning for us. Knowledge is acquired and expanded as we apply our previous learning experiences to solving new, meaningful problems, and I feel that learning technology is the classroom]]. Justepidimy of this way of thinking.
I would like to leave these instructions here untilone last thought, and that is after learning several new technical skillsin this class, the end, okay?one thing that I learned the most, and that will stay with me through my educational career is that I need to make sure I incorporate some type of technology into my lesson plans and teachings.

For the Concept Map I used the XMind program. This program lets one put organized thoughts together in the form of main ideas and connects them together. It is similar to how our own human thoughts occur in our brains in the form of a schema. I felt the program was pretty easy to use and let me see an overview of what I learned in this course. I think I could use this program in the classroom as an assessment tool for a unit plan.
